The third annual festivity of the Mežinieki community

A wonderful evening at the third Mežinieki community festival. We encountered the chairman of Ķekava Municipality Council, Juris Žilko, and leaders of the community, Ķekava Municipality NGO, and we told the people of the neighborhood about the life of the Misa River and the formation of typical alluvium for our river.

We talked about the role of the community in clearing the river and cleaning up the boating road. We reminded them about safety on the water. In the rhythm of the music of the local band “Brička”, we enjoyed this summer’s most delicious pretzel, met many people from Daugmale Theatre “Daugavas krāču teātris”, who had come to visit Mežinieki to watch their activities. We were glad to meet the Jaunolaine Society and many others who have not been seen for a long time. A rich summer!
