One also needs the satisfaction of volunteering with like-minded people. Indeed, sometimes you just have to do a job that needs to be done right there and now, and things start to change for the better. So do we too \u2013 educating by putting things in order. Let it become visible!<\/p>\n<p>The four main priorities of the NGO \u201c\u016adensmalu att\u012bst\u012bbai&#8221; (Waterfronts Development) are public participation, waterfront communities, people&#8217;s sport, and youth initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\"  id=\"row-865263672\">\n\n\n\t<div id=\"col-1825086553\" class=\"col medium-6 small-12 large-6\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\n<div class=\"container section-title-container\" ><h4 class=\"section-title section-title-normal\"><b><\/b><span class=\"section-title-main\" >History of the organization<\/span><b><\/b><\/h4><\/div>\n\n<ul>\n<li>2015 \u2013 2016 \u2013 Foundation of the NGO \u201c\u016adensmalu att\u012bst\u012bbai\u201d<\/li>\n<li>In 2017 and 2018, Latvian scale smoothwater rowing competition and opening of shores in the Saus\u0101 Daugava, near the delta of \u0136ekavi\u0146a River<\/li>\n<li>In 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 6 LEADER projects, including the opening and improvement of two shores in \u0136ekava and the shore of Misa, in the village of Ka\u017eoki, eight partnership cooperation projects \u201cDaugavabasmalas\u201d<\/li>\n<li>In 2021 victory in \u0136ekava municipality Hackathon with the concept of development of the municipality&#8217;s waterfronts<\/li>\n<li>In 2021, the Hackathon Winner Prize of 2000 EUR was invested to develop river improvement sketch designs in cooperation with students and professors of the Latvian University of Agriculture.<\/li>\n<li>In 2021, a letter of intent was concluded with \u0136ekava municipality for the establishment of cooperation between the local governments of Olaine, Salaspils and Bauska for the development of significant waterfront projects.<\/li>\n<li>In 2021-2022, together with the municipality NGOs and communities, we worked to implement the concept of waterfront development into the \u0136ekava municipality Sports and Active Recreation Concept for period until 2027 as well as in the municipality development plans, action and investment strategy plans.<\/li>\n<li>In 2023, we will continue to promote the economic activity of Daugava River waterfront communities, which we started with the LEADER cooperation project \u201cDaugavabasmalas\u201d in 2018 and 2019 with the support of the Active Citizens Fund.
